The Core Purpose of any Company is to solve Customer’s Problem.

Back in 2010 when i started my first venture as a 19year old student. I was inspired by stories of entrepreneurs who made it big and generated Millions of Jobs in the Process.

Hence, when we started BEWAKOOF®. We operated with a dual purpose – serving the customers and generating jobs. At some point of time we started celebrating the number of jobs more than the customer successes.
(We scaled up to employ 1500 Jobs)

Our decisions affected our customers. We chose to manufacture in-house despite the higher cost, rather than outsource to other Indian vendors.

Our strength was Product and Design while Contract Manufacturers specialised in cost optimisation. Eventually we reached a point where in-house costs ballooned and became unsustainable. Eventually we outsourced and those lost Jobs were generated at the vendor’s end.

Every founder and founding team can possess a variety of Purposes that serve to unite and motivate them personally, but their primary objective should always be to fulfil the needs of their customers.

The Core Purpose of any Company is to solve Customer’s Problem.

If the Core Purpose isn’t the Customer’s Problem/Solution, it’s a debt that will be paid someday.
